Discovery Middle School Program

A high-contrast, sensory-friendly sanctuary designed for unique learners to master academic standards and build executive function skills in a structured, supportive environment.

Curriculum & Approach: Growing with Discovery

Academics & Projects

Our Discovery Years students engage in core academics through creative, project-based learning. We focus on strengths, allowing students to explore their passions while mastering middle school standards.

Study Skills

We explicitly teach the 'how' of learning. From research methods to effective note-taking strategies, students build the academic tools necessary for independent high school readiness.

Executive Functioning

Executive function coaching is woven into the daily routine. We support organization, task initiation, and time management, turning everyday hurdles into milestones of independence.

Life as a Discovery Scholar

Middle school at Liberty Scholars is more than a program; it's a sanctuary where our Discovery scholars feel truly understood. We provide a calm, structured environment designed to reduce school anxiety, utilizing small class sizes and integrated sensory supports that allow every mind to focus and excel. Social life thrives here through interest-based clubs and authentic friendships, fostering a genuine sense of belonging while students develop the executive function and confidence needed for their next chapter.
